Bav Tailor is on a journey, undergoing a constant evolution of her skills and consciousness as she brings her holistic consultancy to a wider audience. Bav is the creator of the Śakti Sphere, a sanctuary space that provides a 360° holistic offering an all-encompassing multi-sensory experience along with wellness services and luxury products. 

The Śakti Sphere is the culmination of many years of nomadic exploration, through which Bav’s philosophy has expanded and developed, a rich synthesis of experience, ancient wisdom and existential realisation. Following a successful career in luxury fashion, Bav chose to develop her childhood heritage of spiritual practices, bringing strongly held ethics and values to a new calling in the wellness industry.

‘As an experienced behavioural observer, studying the past and understanding the present allows me to naturally navigate shifts in the zeitgeist,’ she says. As a result, Bav Tailor established her brand as both destination and tool, a way of communicating ethical wellness. Through the Śakti Sphere, her products and transcendent self-mastery practices, Bav also mentors a new generation of wellness creatives, helping them set up and sustain conscious and mindful businesses.

This rare but timely combination of self-aware luxury underpins a suite of offerings that Bav describes as a ‘holistic tapestry,’ a way to ‘cosmically orchestrate a life experience that inspires people to strive to be more attuned to their greatness, and be more mindful, peaceful and harmonious in their actions.’ 

Śakti is an ancient Sanskrit term meaning ‘divine energy’. The Śakti Sphere is a sacred space for replenishing energy, as well as being a striking metaphor for our surroundings. Through familiarity with the Sphere, we can interpret and engage with the world to balance responsibility with freedom and personal choice. This is about preserving our own personal sphere through mindful living, drawing on Eastern philosophies and Existentialism, in particular the life and works of Shifu Shi Heng Yi, founder of the Shaolin Temple Europe, author and educator Vishen Lakhiani of MindValley, Sadhguru, creator of the Isha Foundation and Shannon Lee, daughter of Bruce Lee and Trustee of the Bruce Lee Foundation.

In addition to this diverse selection of inspiring spiritual mentors, Bav also feels great affinity with pioneers like Steve Jobs, visionary business leaders who have enhanced connectivity through simplicity of design and thought. ‘My vision for Śakti Sphere is for it to become a go-to city or online sanctuary, a retreat for when one requires time-out from the chaos of the office or home to balance their inner wellbeing,’ she says.

In 2024, Bav was awarded Best Sustainable Service, Beauty & Wellness category in the 2025 Country & Town House Future Icons Awards, and her company was named Fashion Business of the Year in the Positive Luxury 2024 Awards, lauded for how ‘its holistic approach to sustainability and ethical practices [are] deeply rooted in its operations’. In 2023, Bav Tailor was a winner in the Marie Claire Sustainability Beauty, Health & Wellness Small Business Awards.These form part of the publication’s annual Journey to Zero event, a perfect synergy with her centred, holistic approach to practice.
