eudaimonia with love, eternally

Each BAV TAiLOR creation, follows the mantra ‘respect your body + your sphere’, is a hymn to the beauty of the world. An expression of responsible empowerment through timeless minimalist silhouettes and effortless geometrical volumes, inspired by essential architecture and a fusion of Eastern philosophies. A philosophy that entails a hygge vision of free-spiritness, functionality, and of mindful evolution towards a conscious awareness.

Ananta Collection - eudaimonia with love, eternally
Inspired by infinite expansion of oneself and BAV TAiLOR’s journey towards eternal love – her ‘summum bonum’. A collection that interprets this infinite interracial unity through colour blocking and the brand’s first photographic print featured as part of the ‘artisanal lab’ platform, in ripple effect fluid silhouettes, sharp tailored pieces, moulage volumes and detailed origami serpent folds that echo the cosmic relationship between united souls in harmony with the ocean that surrounds them.

KEY MATERIALS

The interpretation in 3D volumes of this blossoming of infinite love is represented combining two contrasting precious certified materials; indulgent mohair from certified farms with sustainable production, juxtaposed with precious Biellese wools. The details are finished in an innovative new material created from natural ‘Elephant Ear leaves’ that derive from renewable origin. The leaves collected in controlled reforested areas, are a vegan & eco-friendly material with characteristics similar to leather which allow the skin to breath. The collection also presents new innovative fabrics such as a technical and sustainable double-face coated cork fabric and Newlife ™, a fabric created from recycled plastic bottles - the flower of new sustainable Italian fabrics.
Of course, a BAV TAiLOR collection, cannot be complete without the free-spirited silhouettes of organic silks and signature Japanese feather silk organza featured with a new special 3-D texture.
The philosophy of “artisanal lab” continues its synergy with two collaborations:
A photograph captured by Mavi di Marco interpreted in a print on precious organic silk. The Roman Artist’s photography is part of a project entitled UNTITLED LO.VE where the subjects are the flowers, the result being a surrealist play of lights to express their beauty and render them to look like silk.
Waste to Couture with Sarah Beatrice, a talented independent textile designer who has developed her savoir-faire and her curiosities around haute couture and ready-to-wear industries working for several textile ateliers in Paris. For BAV TAiLOR, Sarah handcrafted pieces upcycling existing stock material transforming them into new creations. The ‘Butterfly Creations’ showcase an intricate weaving and laser-cut workmanship using Butterfly silhouettes that transform into works of art.
